stealing parts of this post (with credit) for the wow wiki draft
esp. the raid buffs section fit perfectly and saves me writing the same darn crap.
good luck on the moving
Engineering hand tinker is best used macro’d with Tiger’s Fury and probably Berserk – since the Haste + TF buff together are better than each separate, and Berserk is usually popped with Hysteria, or even Hysteria + Tricks of the Trade + Shattering Throw.
Very skilled use of this hand tinker (i.e., better than I do) would make it higher than averaged dps.
Yep, for a 1m CD (the haste buff on the engi gloves), I’d probably macro it to TF also, since they line up so well. I wouldn’t macro it to Berserk. For short CD’s like that, I wouldn’t worry too much about trying to line it up…you’re going to lose more DPS waiting than you’ll gain by popping with a trinket/Hero/etc.
You also in general don’t want to use haste buffs with berserk, since haste’s big bonus is OoC procs – which you don’t want as many of during berserk.
Using it during a bloodlust though is good due to how haste stacks.
I’ve also never seen Crusher recommended over agility or precision. Agility is certainly worth more than AP at that level unless you’re massively crit-capped.
Otherwise, really nice guide. I especially like the breakdown by DPS value.
Kal, I thought the same, but Rawr had Crusher ahead, though it was a very slight difference (I’ll be posting the gearset I used as part of part 2, so you can check my work if you want, but Rawr calculates AP EP as .63 and Agi EP as 1.38). If it was 40 AP vs 20 agi, it’s clearly in agi’s favor, but 44 AP vs 20 agi’s much closer. (Not that it’s really worth arguing, we’re talking about a .01% DPS difference.) I’ll edit the post to reflect that a bit better.
Yeah, I like the DPS breakdown too..it’s helpful to know what to stress as a RL.

Just finished cleaning it up. Hopefully moving forward we can avoid having 15 different feral guides in ten separate locations each dependent on one single person who may go MIA at any moment. Pool information to find solutions to common problems/issues and teach the new kids.

‘Fur Lining – Attack Power is a leatherworking-only permanent enchant to bracers to increase attack power by 130. ‘
So for leatherworking it’s not a 80AP bonus, but 130.
It’s 80 AP better than the non-LW version.
